How We Research

Every recommendation on Eliza & Wyld is based on hands-on testing, official source verification, and a structured review process designed to catch bias before it reaches the page.

How do we test apps?

Each app is installed on real devices running current OS versions. Android testing uses a Pixel phone and a Samsung Galaxy. iOS testing uses a current-generation iPhone. We use each app for its intended purpose over a minimum one-week period before forming a recommendation.

We check every claim against official sources: pricing pages, developer documentation, app store listings, and privacy policies. According to the developer is our attribution standard.

How do we verify facts?

Every number, price, release date, and feature claim is traced to a primary source before publication. Primary source means the company or platform that owns the data. We link to those sources in the article body and list them in a Sources block at the end of each guide.

If a fact cannot be verified against a primary source, we cut the sentence rather than guess.

How do we handle corrections?

When we discover an error in a published article, we correct it the same day. The article shows an updated “Last reviewed” date. Material corrections are noted at the top of the article.

How often is content refreshed?

High-traffic guides are reviewed on a 30-day cycle. Every article carries a “Last reviewed” date near the byline. During a review cycle, we re-check pricing, feature availability, app store status, and any changes to terms of service.

What we do not do

  • We do not accept payment for reviews or inclusion in roundups.
  • We do not fabricate statistics, ratings, or review counts.
  • We do not use stock screenshots. Images are captured from our own devices.
  • We do not claim affiliation with any developer or manufacturer.
